To kick off RCTV’s 7th anniversary celebration, the team organized a truly inspiring day for the people of Brgy. Guadalupe.

On August 28, 2010, a medical and dental mission to commence the “Matahom nga Cebu” theme for this year’s anniversary was made possible by a team of selfless volunteers to provide free basic health services to the residents of the said Barangay.

Why does Real Cebu Television exist?

The main reason for which we exist is CEBU. For seven years now, the Queen City of the South has continually inspired RCTV to come up with the best shows and content that could only showcase the best of our beautiful province.

So as we celebrate our 7^th anniversary, we would like to pay tribute to the reason for which we exist: Matahum Nga Cebu.

All roads led to The Parkmall last March 28, 2010 as RCTV Channel 36 and PLDT myDSL Watchpad brought us Live & Loud! Up and coming school bands battled it out with each other while Cebu's most revered musical talents, all of whom were featured in RCTV's Tambayan sa Outpost, rocked the place.

Almost all RCTV hosts and talents and even PLDT's Pierro Vergara and Nina Kodaka were there to make the event more special.We also introduced to the puublic the Top 12 Screentesters who will be joining RCTV Screen Test (The VJ Hunt) and officially welcomed Red Habagat as part of the RCTV family.
